His Spring/Summer 2023 collection presents a vision of masculinity free from strict, traditional constraints, using loose-fitting garments, textured fabrics, and designs that balance tailored lines with softer elements.
Operating between craftsmanship and narrative, Xie’s garments resist static categorisation. Tailoring is loosened, elongated, and gently destabilised, resulting in a relaxed fit, extended lengths, and a construction that avoids rigid structure. Traditional formalwear codes are reworked through asymmetric cuts, such as uneven hemlines, softened shoulders for a less structured look, and widened proportions that provide a spacious, flowing silhouette. Garments shift as the body moves, adapting shape and drape.
