Presented at Paris Fashion Week within the Musée Guimet, the collection reflects Do’s commitment to thoughtful design and cultural resonance.
A notable collaboration with Philip Huang infuses the collection with traditional Thai indigo dyeing techniques, introducing a palette rich in organic hues. This partnership underscores Do’s dedication to sustainability and cultural preservation, merging indigenous craftsmanship with modern aesthetics.
The collection deconstructs conventional summer tailoring through featherweight wool, silk, and chiffon textiles, offering a fresh perspective on warm-weather attire. Do’s signature minimalism is evident in oversized blazers, bias-cut silk dresses, and reinterpretations of traditional Vietnamese garments, such as long poplin pleated shirt dresses paired with tailored trousers.
Innovative fabric developments mimic the texture of crushed paper, while floral motifs, sourced from Do’s sketches, are delicately rendered on sheer Italian jersey.
